Hello! I am Bob The Train Guy!

I have been an active Model Railroader for over 50 years. My father had a large model train layout in our basement. We shared a lot of quality time ‘playing’ with trains. This fueled my passion for model trains. My life-long dream was to open a Model Train Shop somewhere and play with trains all day! Remember, Model Railroading is Fun!

Well, here I am! I do not have a Model Train Shop in the traditional sense. With a stationary ‘brick and mortar’  shop I wouldn’t get a chance to sell to customers world-wide. In my travels I would visit local hobby shops. More and more of them have closed. This was putting some doubt in my mind whether I would ever have my shop.

Today, with the internet I can service ALL of my customers here in the states and internationally. I have customers in over 30 countries and all 50 states.

My goal is to have only the finest of products from only the best producers! Quality and value are key!  I use these products myself. I enjoy searching for unique producers and products and will ‘Special Order ‘ just about anything you may need.

Customer service is very important to me. If you aren’t happy, I am not happy! I ship promptly and pack your items with care as if they are my own.
